We want to give a shout out to the Silver City Arts and Cultural District. Our two organizations have teamed up to represent Silver city and Grant County at two tourism conferences in Albuquerque this month. We will have booth space and tourism information available at the Balloon Fiesta Museum during an event called New Mexipo and the Albuquerque Convention Center for the 2017 Governor's Conference on Tourism and Hospitality. We hope to generate broad interest in making Silver City a weekend getaway, tourism, and even a conference center destination. We will showcase the best that our area has to offer during these events. Thank you ACD for partnering with the Chamber of Commerce to make the possible.

Well, my back may be sore and my feet my ache, but we made it. Everything has been moved in to our new offices at the Grant County Veteran's Memorial Business and Conference Center. We will work with Grant County management to choose a date to hold an open house and ribbon cutting for this beautiful facility. If you have not yet visited the building, I believe you will think it is pretty darn nice.

If you need more information regarding the Conference Center, we have lots of information posted on the internet. Here is the link to that page: http://www.silvercity.org/grant-county-veterans-memorial-business-confe.

You can call us at (575) 538-3785 to ask questions or receive additional information. At the Chamber of Commerce, we continue to work hard to serve our members by promoting business, commerce and tourism in Grant County.
