This Friday, December 14, the Chamber of Commerce will help with a ribbon cutting and open house for the Gila Regional Ankle and Foot Clinic. Dr. Gregory Iwassa and his staff look forward to meeting the public as they show  their new offices and discuss all the health procedures that can use to help you with problems you may have with your feet or ankles. The ribbon cutting and open house begins at 11:00 am. Gila Regional Ankle & Foot Clinic is located at 1280 East 32nd Street in Silver City. The clinic is across the street from Gila Regional Medical Center.

Then on Friday, December 21, the public is invited to attend a ribbon cutting and open house for HoneeBeeGoods bakery at the corner of Bullard and Broadway Streets in Silver City. So, big deal, they have been open for a while...but they never had a ribbon cutting or a big open house. That's why they are inviting you to visit their shop at 4:30 p.m. next Friday, just in time for Christmas. It's sort of a holiday open house - official Grand Opening. Owners Sarah and Alex look forward to meeting you and you may even get to taste some of their delicious baked goods.

Tapas Tree Grill has opened in their new location at 619 North Bullard Street in downtown Silver City. They still have the same great menu filled with delicious foods that some say is a Global Street Food Adventure. There's no doubt we will be announcing a ribbon cutting ceremony for Tapas Tree in the near future.

And yes, the new Del Taco will be opening in a few days. It will be pretty easy to tell when they have opened, the parking lot will be filled with cars instead of construction company trucks.

And here are a few more openings that we hope to assist with:

  • Lawley Toyota's new dealership building is getting pretty close to being completed. It's a beautiful addition to the commercial buildings in Silver City.
  • We will help with a ribbon cutting and open house for the new office of Van Dyk Mortgage Company. Vicky Schram is putting the finishing touches on her new office at 1625 Silver Heights Blvd. in Silver City.

It's great to see so many things happening in the business-world in Grant County. We hope you will attend some of these events as they take place.

On behalf of all the members of the Silver City Grant County Chamber of Commerce, we hope you have a very Happy Holiday Season.
