What's New At The Gospel Mission For The Week Of Jan 30-Feb 5

The 6th Street School Pantry has been moved permanently from the school to the Knights of Columbus Building on Swan Street. It will still be held on the 1st Monday of every month from 2 pm until the food runs out until the end of the school year. All parents of 6th Street School kids are welcome to attend and please bring your own bags and help to carry the food. If you would like to lend a hand, the truck will arrive around 1 pm for unloading.

We had a very productive meeting with members of Main Street where we brainstormed ways we could make the downtown area better and how we could improve business in our thrift store. We appreciate their thoughtfulness and concern in asking for our input and including the Mission in their plans.

And we would like to remind you that besides acting as a clothing bank for the homeless and needy in our area, that our thrift store is also open to the general public and we have many unique, fun and necessary items at dirt-cheap prices that you can afford.
