Celebrate Recovery meets every Tuesday night at 6 pm at the Good Hope Fellowship. Celebrate Recovery is a Christian based 12 step program. Like Alcoholics Anonymous and Narcotics Anonymous Celebrate Recovery is a Christ centered 12 step program based on biblical principles with the purpose of letting God restore our mental, physical, emotional and Spiritual health with His healing power. Through Celebrate Recovery's 12 steps which uses Scriptures from the Bible along with the 8 CR principles individuals can begin healing and gain freedom from drug addiction, hurts, habits and hang-ups. Give us a call if you or someone you know would like to attend.

Our good friend and long-time volunteer Marty Dempsey passed into His presence Thursday, January 26, 2017. Her daughter-in-law, Thia, was with her and knew she went in peace. If there is anything of which I am sure, it is that she is there with Him, and all the Gǣcloud of witnessesGǥ.

As she asked, a Memorial Service will be held for her at the Mission. It is for her, and for the Mission guests she so dearly loved. It will be at noon, while lunch is being served so the people who knew her from the Mission will have the opportunity to be there. It will be informal and simple with Barbara Saxton saying a few words, nothing to bring, nothing beyond just people sharing in our loss and about having known Marty.
And we still need a Bible Study Teacher on Friday mornings if anyone is interested.
Verse Of The Week:
