I see it daily: Lives lived without meaning drifting from one toy, fad or bright, shiny object to the next. Lots of leisure, but no rest. Lots of parties, but no joy. Lots of drugs and alcohol, but no real highs. No sense that what we do really matters.

At the Mission, we try and teach folks that it doesn't have to be that way. That it is never too late to change. We try and show people that blessings abound when we attempt to order our lives around what God wants for us. That when we rely upon God to lead us our lives will become blessed so that we can in turn bless others.

If you would like to help us with our quest, we need a Bible Study teacher on Friday's from 9-10 am. Someone who can teach others about God's mercy and love and the saving grace of his Son Jesus Christ. And someone who will faithfully come in, even if it's to teach just one person who may really need it.

And the students from Calvary Christian Academy will be coming in on Friday to cook and it is always nice to see some young, cheerful and hopeful faces around the place.
