The last food pantry for the 6th Street Elementary School will be held this Monday, May 1, at the Knights of Columbus on Swan Street. This pantry is for all parent of 6th Street School children and will begin at 1 pm and last until the food is gone. Please bring your own bags and help to carry the food.

The three-year grant that 6th street received for this pantry has run out and principals at other elementary schools in the area have received the MFP for the new CHI grant and we hope they will apply. This grant would be used for parents of their children and we normally have more than 10,000 pounds of food trucked in each month.

And please don't forget that this next Saturday, May 6, that we will be at the Give Grandly event downtown at the Farmers Market raising funds to help our soup kitchen and food pantry. Please drop by and say hi.
