I was invited to attend WNMU's 11th Annual Academic and Research Symposium this last Tuesday and was able to listen to quite a few of the presentations given by students who had volunteered at the Mission this last semester.

Presentations were given by groups that did food drives, cut and hauled firewood for those who rely solely on wood, and volunteered at the Mission for 25 hours of community service work.

I also was able to see and have explained to me many unique inventions and research done by the OTA program who also helped a lot this semester, including putting in our summer garden.

All of their help is truly appreciated and its great to see our partnership with the University expanding.

Thanks again WNMU for a job well done!
