Our Vacation Bible School was a huge success with around 12 kids attending. A huge thanks to Meghan Gregory for putting it together, Mike Dyndiuk for leading it, Tamera Perry and her Calvary Chapel Of Silver City Youth Group for acting as group leaders, board members and other volunteers for helping and Indian Hills Baptist Church for letting us use some of their VBS materials and decorations.

A huge thanks to the youth Missions group from Hillsborough Church in Texas for their help around the Mission last week and their assistance with the Senior Food Pantry.

There will be a Farmers Market food distribution with fresh produce this Thursday at the Knights of Columbus sponsored by volunteers of Walmart of Silver City, Roadrunner Food Bank and the Gospel Mission. Anyone who really needs some food in Grant County is welcome to attend and it will run from around 1 pm until the food runs out.

Thank you Methodist Women for a great lunch last Friday; up this Friday is Eddie Evatt and his Crosspoint Church group!

Up next on our schedule of special events is a motorcycle run on August 13th to benefit Vets who come to the Mission sponsored by the Marine Corps League and the Vietnam Veterans group.
