The Silver City Gospel Mission, in collaboration with Hunger Free America, offers an extraordinary summer opportunity that could be a stepping-stone for your child’s future. 

We’re on a quest to recruit six passionate Summer Associate VISTAs, dedicated to combating food insecurity and catalyzing positive change. 

If your young adult is eager to make a difference and prepare for college and life beyond, this opportunity could be a perfect match! What sets our 10-week, full-time AmeriCorps Summer Vista Program apart? 

Here’s the crux: 

• Direct Impact: Engage in meaningful initiatives like tending to our community garden and aiding our food pantries. 
• Skill Acquisition: Gain practical skills and experiences that supplement academic learning and prepare your young adult for the real world.
