This Saturday, July 21, the Walking Tour of Ft. Bayard National Historic Landmark. takes place at 9:30 am, beginning at the Fort Bayard Commanding Officer’s Quarters. Bill Kupke leads a tour that covers military history including Buffalo Soldiers, architecture, the ‘tuberculosis years’ and daily life on the post.

AND, if you like snakes, salamanders, cockatoos, and hedgehogs . . . these are just a few of the animals you will see as the Albuquerque Zoo and the Bayard Public Library present "Zoo to You" a free live animal exhibit.
