Now Donald Trump is the presumptive nominee for the Republican Party. Many of you don't want to vote for him. Maybe it's because you believe the media hype about him being a bigot or a racist; maybe you don't like his rhetoric or his bombastic style. Whatever the reason, many conservatives and independents are saying they won't vote for Trump and will either stay away from the polls or will actively support Hillary. That's your right, but is it the right thing to do?

I would submit to you that if I were to write down Trump's positions on many issues in one column and Hillary's positions in a column next to it, without identifying their names, you would hands down support Trump. Similarly I could do the same thing with their experience and you'd chose Trump every time.

Like me, I know many do not believe Trump is a conservative. His history gives us good reason to wonder if his position on issues like immigration, small government, taxes, regulations, etc. as expressed during the campaign are truly what he believes and what he would do.

Let's assume that he is not the true conservative he claims to be; even if he's conservative on only 40-50% of the issues, he's going to be vastly more conservative than Hillary or Bernie. It is highly likely that he will be conservative on the economy, taxes, and government regulation; three of the hottest button issues for most conservatives.

As a businessman, Trump will promote actions that will reduce taxes, repeal onerous regulations, and will generally create a more friendly business atmosphere in America. That will bring companies and jobs back to America. If he can push truly equal trade deals with our 'partners' then that makes it even more likely companies like Carrier and Ford will keep their U.S. plants open.

Of course we could also talk about Hillary's 'qualifications' but we won't go into detail. Let's put aside her dismal record as Secretary of State, her lies about Benghazi, the email scandal, the questions about the family foundation, her belief that a large government is a better government; let's put all of that aside and assume that you are willing to let her win because you'll either stay home or vote for her.

There is one reason above all to vote for Trump as opposed to Hillary: the Supreme Court. Look at the age of the justices currently sitting on the bench; to say they are old is an understatement. It's highly likely that the next President will appoint 3-4 Justices to the court. If Hillary is able to win the office, do you really want her appointing more justices? Really?

More than any other action she could take, if she can appoint liberal justices to the court she will fundamentally change America for more than a generation. You can say goodbye to the Constitution and the protections it is supposed to provide for the citizens. The 1st and 2nd amendments would be effectively repealed and that would only be the beginning.

Are you willing to sacrifice the future of this country to make a statement about Trump? Most of us are extremely disappointed in all politicians including those leading the Republican party. But if we want change, real change, that will put this country back on the track that made it the greatest nation in the history of the world, we have to vote. Many of us wanted Walker, Cruz, or Carson but we have Trump.

Let's make him the first step in pushing back against the political elite, the ruling class and use it as a springboard to take back our country, reminding our elected officials who really is the boss.
