GǣWhile other markets in New Mexico are seeing a tighter market with fewer homes listed, Grant County is only slightly down in its listings. The MLS at the end of September had 427 residential properties listed for sale. These homes have been on the market for an average of 222 days. The average asking price for these properties is $154,570.

"We also had 46 properties that were under contract. This is dramatically up from the end of September 2015 when there were only 24 properties under contract. In September we also sold 27 residential properties with an average sales price of $142,648 as compared to September 2015 where 23 homes sold for a sales price of $115,359. Overall in 2016, 240 residential properties have sold, this is 30 more than 2015 year-to-date.Gǥ Kim Clark, Association Executive, said.
