Earlier this week I hopped in the truck and caught part of a discussion on Fox T.V's 'The Five' program. The topic for that segment was the weight of the 2 major party candidates for President. The discussion was a great example of liberal hypocrisy.

Donald Trump had released some of his medical records and is apparently about 6-2 and just over 220 pounds. On the infamous body mass index scale, that makes Trump borderline obese. There is not much of an argument that he's overweight but I don't think most people look at him and see him as obese.

The question arose about Hillary's height and weight and why she hasn't released that information. Juan Williams said that was basically sexist, along with a 2nd liberal pundit who's name I didn't get. I'd say she was a female but that's sexist and makes an assumption we aren't supposed to make. She might identify as a male, a xe, an it, or some other gender I'm not familiar with as of yet.

But their point was that you don't ask women about their weight. Wait a minute, aren't we supposed to look at each other in the same manner? Aren't we supposed to treat each other the same and not alter our perceptions based upon someone's gender? If the critics can look at Trump and suggest that his weight is a health issue that could impact his ability to remain in office, if elected, then can't we ask the same questions about Hillary?

Clearly Hillary's health is an issue. But if being overweight creates a concern about one's ability to perform the essential duties of being President, then Hillary is right there with Trump. I'm not an expert but you can't argue that Hillary couldn't stand to lose a few pounds. Maybe that would help her get rid of the 'pneumonia'.

Williams and his fellow liberal said it's not polite to ask a woman about her weight or age for that matter. Then that means we are supposed to treat women differently than men based solely upon their gender. But we are told by liberals that we are sexist when we do so. We can't call women 'actresses' or 'waitresses' for example because that differentiates them based upon their gender and that's discriminatory. But when we try and treat them the same as we treat men, the liberals generally don't like it.

Of course we've seen this type of thing before, such as calling Condoleeza Rice 'Aunt Jemima' because she is a conservative black woman who has in the opinion of the left wing betrayed her heritage because she succeeded on her own, without the use of affirmative action and because she holds conservative opinions. The left will protect you and like you if you are one of them, but if you disagree with them, they can call you names, deride you, and it's all fair game.

But if a conservative dares to hold open the door for a woman, it's sexist. If a conservative points out that Hillary should release her medical records since health is a legitimate concern, it's sexist. And to you liberals who say Trump hasn't released his tax records like Hillary has, so why should she release her medical records: you don't want your candidate to be like Trump do you?
