I'm listening to all these discussions about President Trump firing FBI director Comey. I've heard the phrase constitutional crisis thrown around, I've also heard people call this a coup of the American government. This is none of that. The heads of the various departments of the federal government serve at the discretion of the current president of the United States whoever that is. Most presidents replace the people in these positions, not always but it is normal.

It's also amazing to hear that all of these liberals change their tune about director Comey. Just last week we heard Hillary Clinton blame him in part for her loss. We have heard him criticized by the left for bringing up all the investigations of her email server. They wanted him fired just a week or two ago. But now that Donald Trump did it, oh my God, it's a crisis.

And all this chaff about investigations regarding the Russian "connection"; nine months into the investigation and there isn't any evidence. Clapper and Yates testify that there isn't any evidence of collaboration between Trump and the Russians, or his campaign and the Russians; so to say that Comey was fired for that reason is not accurate.

Comey has demonstrated unproffessional behavior going back to June/July of last year when he held the press conference regarding an ongoing investigation into Hillary Clinton. That is inappropriate, I don't care who the candidate is...

Finally, if you say McCain and other "Republicans" want an investigation, that's political grandstanding, because they are losing their influence under the Trump administration.
