I've decided that this week's column won't be mono-topical, but let's do some quick observations, that will be expanded upon during tomorrow's radio show (92.9 FM at 9:00 a.m.). And with the ability to add sarcasm to the vocal inflection, it might be a bit more entertaining than what we can do with the written word.

Thank you, Hillary. You have proven my point, even if the mainstream media won't report accurately about your comments. It is all about power with the liberal elite. You don't want your followers to be civil until you are back in power. Get in our faces, call us names, threaten our children. Isn't your 'threat' comparable to pointing a gun at our heads and saying, "vote for us or else"?

Reason #3451 that I am a nervous flier: A Jet Airways flight from Mumbai to Jaipur was forced to turn back to Mumbai after the pilots 'forgot' to turn on the pressure in the cabin. Passengers and the sky waitresses began feeling ill, some bleeding from their noses or ears. Amazingly, they didn't forget to pressurize the cockpit. Imagine that.

DePaul University officials have cancelled scheduled speeches by Candace Owens and Charlie Kirk, citing the threats of violence should they be allowed to speak. Of course the threats of violence were made by the oh so tolerant left wing, some of whom I am sure would be paid to show up and create mayhem. The administration later amended their statement saying that Owens in particular used hate speech in previous appearances. The specific message or phrase that the administration didn't like? Blacks do not have to be Democrats, they can be Republicans. The horror! I can't believe she hasn't been locked up and subjected to listening to Hillary Clinton's speeches over and over and over again.

Wouldn't it be horrifying if babies could cry while still in the womb?

Calling Kanye West derogatory names simply because he visited President Trump is one of the most racist things I can imagine. The left says he is betraying his race by engaging with and supporting the President and his policies. Isn't demanding that people think a certain way simply because of the color of their skin racist? I guess the liberal Democrats haven't gotten over the repeal of segregation and Jim Crow laws. Notice they were afraid to say the same things about Jim Brown, who was in the same meeting? I would be, too.

I was reading a thread on Facebook about our local Little Caesars pizza; several people complained that they were always out of "hot and ready" pizza. What do you expect? There's now a marijuana dispensary next door. No one could be expected to keep up with that demand.

I don't have a clue about some of the new bands that are popular these days. A boy band performing under the name, NCT 127, was receiving an award at the AMA celebration earlier this week. They made an appearance on the morning show of the LA Fox News affiliate. The female host of the show was interviewing the 10 members of the group, when she asked one where they were from. The young man told her he was from Vancouver. "Canada?! That's great! Your English is impeccable! Good for you!" What did you expect him to speak, Moose? The sad thing? All of the band members clapped enthusiastically when she gave him that compliment.
