It's a tactic used by so many politicians over the years; if you want support for anything, say something that evokes a strong emotional response in the voter base and you will most likely get their support. Fear happens to be the most effective of those emotions and the Democrats have done an outstanding job of using the tactic.

Whether it's taking away someone's rights, killing grandma, starving children, or tearing families apart, the liberals have been able to create strong emotions among the people and stay in power. The problem is that most of the time what they are telling you is absolutely false. When the narrative is somewhat accurate, it's usually the policies favored by the liberals that will kill grandma or starve kids.

Look at the citizenship question most of us want to have on the census; that question has been on the census for the vast majority of this nation's existence. Why? Because representation in elected bodies is determined by the number of citizens in a particular area. Non-citizens do not count in that tabulation. Additionally some federal payments are based upon population of citizens. To me, that seems like a very good reason to know how many citizens reside in an area.

But the Democrats are claiming the information will be used to identify those that are here illegally and then ICE will come in their riot gear, kick in the door, take the kids and send mom and dad back to the home country, if they don't shoot them first.

None of that is of course true. But because that does happen in some countries, usually socialist democrat countries, people not raised in America might think it could happen. Since there are likely to be ICE raids this weekend, some people and media outlets will point the finger and claim it as proof. But once again they don't tell you everything. These raids are to detain and deport those who have deportation orders filed with courts already, most of whom have committed crimes while in America.

And don't get me started on AOC's fake photo shoots and lies about the women and children being made to drink toilet water.

But the simple reason they do these things, rather than put forth real information about their plans and proposals, is that they know most of us won't like what they want to do. And they know from experience that many voters are willing to buy into the scare tactics rather than do a little research and think for themselves.
