Generally I am fairly tolerant and polite to those with whom I disagree. That doesn't mean I'm not passionate about some of my viewpoints, but I respect your right to disagree. I can't really keep you from being wrong. But there are times when I think it's appropriate to be less than kind to some in our society. One of those times is right now.

Those of you that are calling our President a racist for criticizing Elijah Cummings and the conditions in his district need to just shut your pie hole. The words I am using in my head for you are not allowed on these pages or the airwaves but I'm sure your pea sized brain can figure out what words I'm thinking.

I am sick and tired of your hypocrisy. What President Trump said about Baltimore is factually accurate. It is a cesspool of filth, rats, drugs, crime, and corruption. Elijah Cummings has run on promises to make things better, yet it has only gotten worse. Those who can, have moved out of Baltimore.

Elijah Cummings has said the same thing as President Trump. One year ago, former Baltimore Mayor Catherine Pugh, a black woman, said she could smell the rats, the feces, the trash and suggested bulldozing the dilapidated buildings. She, along with Cummings, said crime was rampant; drug use was on the rise; she wouldn't live in some of the neighborhoods. Neither she nor Cummings were criticized for their observations and opinions, yet somehow you think Trump is racist.

The vapid hosts of the View actually said criticizing a black man was racist in and of itself. Many of you agree and that's sad because you are actually the racists. If we are to be equal, we can and should criticize those who have made promises that they haven't kept.

Baltimore received somewhere between $800 million and $1.2 billion from the Obama administration as part of the recovery package. It was supposed to go to education, infrastructure, training programs, stimulus packages to attract businesses. Cummings claimed credit for obtaining that funding, yet no one can really account for how that money was spent. Clearly, even if it was spent on intended programs, it failed miserably.

Yet many of you Trump haters have been quiet. You didn't criticize Cummings, Pugh, Obama, or any other politician who accurately described Baltimore. Trump said nothing that was directed personally at Cummings but did point out that Cummings hadn't kept any promises made to improve conditions in Baltimore. That's an accurate accounting of his time in office.

But as usual you hypocritical crybabies can't argue on facts, you've been beaten time and again in that arena so you resort to slander, the last resort of those who have been proven wrong. You don't really care about the people of Baltimore, or Chicago, or San Francisco, or Los Angeles, et al. You only care about platitudes and promises of action. You want to feel good about supporting someone like Cummings, Sanders, Warren, AOC and all of those that want to help the poor or downtrodden.

If you really cared, you would keep an open mind and look at facts. You would be able to articulate why you think a President that has improved the condition of minority groups, such as lowest unemployment rate for black communities in history, is actually a racist. You would be able to counter people like Robert Jones who supports President Trump. But you can't.

So to you, I say shut your damn pie hole until you can actually have an intelligent discussion based upon factual information and not inflammatory language.
