On December 17, Girls Scouts joined together to spread a little holiday cheer by singing Christmas Carols to residents of Fort Bayard Medical Center.

Coordinating an evening of Christmas caroling with American Legion Post 18, Girl Scouts started their evening singing to the veterans at Fort Bayard and then continued singing to different wings of the hospital.  Girl Scouts presented veterans and other residents with special hand-made angels.  Girls were joined with their families and members of the American Legion to share in this joyous time. The Girl Scouts also donated canned goods to a local food drive coordinated in part by the American Legion and Silver City Police Department.
