The Kiwanis Club of Silver City delivered presents to 57 Alzheimer/Dementia patients at Ft. Bayard Medical Center on December 17. Each year, Kiwanis obtains a "wish list" from the patients provided by Director, Cheryl Moutray, and her staff at Ft. Bayard Medical Center. Kiwanis volunteers shop for several weeks to accomodate each request, then meet to wrap and deliver the gifts before Christmas. To make each gift especially festive and personal, the Kiwanis Aktion Club creates a Holiday card that is afixed to each package.
