Western New Mexico University CKI, also known as Circle K International, completed a successful year of service, leadership and fellowship. CKI is a collegiate level Kiwanis organization with more than 12,600 members in 17 nations. This year WNMU CKI students completed and participated in many service projects, including raising funds for Eliminate project which is combined effort with Kiwanis and UNICEF focused on eliminating maternal and neonatal tetanus, which kills one baby ever nine minutes. By raising funds for immunizations for mothers in lesser developed counties, the project is having a profound impact.

The 2013-2014 Officer team included Serina Pack, serving as Lt. Governor of Rio Grande Division; Kale Gahn, President; Brandon Cook, 1st Vice President; Robert Pack, 2nd Vice President; Angel Narvaez, Secretary; Autumn Hunte, Treasurer; and Serina Pack, Bulletin Editor. Some incoming officers have been elected for the 2014-15 school year and include Lt. Governor of Rio Grande Division, Serina Pack; Emily Heidenfeld, President; Secretary-Treasurer, Robert Pack. Three CKI members were honored with their graduation cords as they graduated from WNMU this spring, Kale Gahn, Angle Narvaez, and Lacey Oldham.

This year WNMU CKI received top honors from the Southwest District, which includes all CKI clubs in Arizona and New Mexico. WNMU CKI received the honors of being designated as "Outstanding Club of the Southwest District" and "Outstanding Club Service Hours." Other awards included highest honors in the following categories: Distinguished Faculty Advisor-Dr. Cline, Distinguished Kiwanis Advisor-Lori Bonomo, Distinguished Outstanding Member-Chad Paavola, Distinguished Vice-President-Robert Pack, Distinguished Bulletin Editor-Serina Pack, Overall Highest Number of Service Hours-Serina Pack and she also received a CKI scholarship.
