At the monthly meeting of the Veterans of Foreign Wars on Saturday, May 26, Commander Jim Zawacki and the Officers of VFW Post 3347, Arenas Valley and visiting Officers of VFW Post 1389, Elephant Butte helped to celebrate a great birthday.

They helped celebrate Marine Corps Veteran and Life Time Member Leonard Pritikin's "Young" 94-year Birthday.

Comrade Pritikin, will also this year, celebrate his 71 years as a Veteran of Foreign Wars, VFW, Member.

The VFW Ladies Auxiliary brought a smile to Comrade Leonard's face as they baked his favorite cake, Banana Cake.

At 94 years Comrade Pritikin still makes all the monthly meetings and events.
