The Kiwanis Club of Silver City celebrated the December 2014 "Students of the Month" at a special luncheon held at the Silver City Lodge No. 8 on December 2, with the meal prepared by members of Georgetown Chapter No. 4 OES. The Kiwanis Club of Silver City's Student of the Month Program recognizes outstanding students, as well as most improved. Students are nominated by teachers, and each student receives a special certificate commemorating their achievement.
