curator of educationThe Silver City Museum welcomes Hillary Pierce, the new Curator of Education. As curator, Hillary will be working to build the museum's relationship with schools, expand educational programs, and develop family-friendly, interactive components to the exhibits.

Hillary Pierce comes to the museum with a wide variety of skills and talents. As an enrichment educator, her passion lies in creating hands-on experiences that engage learners in connecting program content to their personal lives. Hillary also brings experience in the development and implementation of enrichment curriculum and programs in several content areas including farming and ranching, elementary science and outdoor education. In her spare time, Hillary is a gardener, adventurous chef, and avid reader.

Museum Director Tracy Spikes comments, "We are so pleased to welcome Hillary as our new Curator of Education. She is already making a difference in creating new and exciting learning adventures for all ages to enjoy at the museum."
