Rookie Of The Year
Stacey Dempsey
Customer Access Representative
Catron County Medical Center

Stacey was nominated for this award by her co-workers based on her outstanding performance as a newcomer to PMS. "Stacey has made a positive impact on our medical center. She completes all her daily duties, orders medications for our drug room, and helps providers in the pharmacy. Stacey has gone above and beyond her own duties when we were short-staffed allowing us to maintain service levels. She brings in patients by taking lists of those needing a diabetic exam, thus increasing our users and quality of care. Stacey practices excellent customer service, attention to detail, and a positive attitude. Every day Stacey makes a valuable impact on our community and the health center and she always does it with a smile!"

This team has achieved tremendous patient satisfaction with patients stating that the dental staff was pleasant, courteous, and caring and that Dr. Westbrook was the best Dentist they had ever gone to. They have not only brought in new patients but have also brought back existing patients. Everyone has worked together to provide services to the students in the Reserve Elementary School. Staff also implemented a very robust oral health education program and had TV's installed to use for patient education. They provide excellent customer service from the time the patient calls for an appointment, to seeing the Dentist, to getting post-op instructions from the dental aides. All staff is positive and happy to be doing their jobs. They collaborate well with the medical team to see patients who have high blood pressure or are need of a diabetic oral exam. The Catron dental team works very efficiently and follows through with the mission and vision of PMS to help improve the health of our patients. They definitely exemplify team talent.
