July 15, 2015 -On July 6th, 7th and 8th, GRMC hosted the students of Health Careers Academy (HCA). The HCA Summer Program consists of high school students from surrounding areas who are interested in careers in healthcare and is brought to the community by the Center for Health Innovation's Forward NM. While at GRMC, the students embarked on tours of the following departments: EMS, Pharmacy, Imaging/Radiology, Cardiopulmonary, and Laboratory. "It's great that these kids are using their summer to learn about healthcare careers," said Jeff Hobbs, Director of EMS, "they represent our future."
