On Saturday, Oct. 1, in Gough Park a celebration of the feast day of St Francis of Assisi, hosted by the Episcopal Church of the Good Shepherd, will take place from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Father Paul Moore, the Episcopal priest, other community clergy and Sister Rita will perform a "Blessing of the Animals". Brewer Hill Baptist Church will have their delicious BBQ available.
