1st New Mexico Bank celebrated the completion of its remodeling project with an Open House and Ribbon Cutting Ceremony today. All the construction work was done by local contractors. This local bank is definitely putting money back into the local economy. Go by and check out the newly remodeled bank at 1928 Highway 180 East in Silver City. Bank President Sean Ormand spoke to the guests about the remodel project and gave a brief history of 1st New Mexico Bank. Mayor Pro-tem Dr. Cynthia Bettison spoke on behalf of the Town of Silver City, and Bruce Ashburn spoke for the Silver City Grant County Chamber of Commerce.
