Members of the Grant County Gem & Mineral Society met at the Silver City Public Library on Friday (February 10, 2017) to donate new mining books to the Silver City Library. The local organization uses money from its annual Gem and Mineral Show for scholarships and other projects, such as the donation of new mining books to area libraries.
