Silver City, NM - The Mimbres Region Arts Council is pleased to announce its recent hire of Elizabeth Rydeski as Event and Marketing Coordinator. In this position, Rydeski will begin her work focusing on Silver City's 2017 Blues Festival.

"I was attracted to this position for several reasons. One, it's in a field that I have experience in and thoroughly enjoy. Two, as a Silver City native, the idea of being involved in the planning and coordination of the Blues Fest is exciting to me," she said.

Rydeski brings with her four years of experience in event coordinating in both the corporate and private spheres. She also has experience in multimedia marketing that will be helpfully employed in her position with the Mimbres Region Arts Council. Rydeski holds a B.A. in Integrated Strategic Communications from The University of New Mexico.
