The panel for the forum Thursday, March 30, at the Western New Mexico University Library discussed the theme of Immigration in "Fighting the Dragnet: Detention, Deportation and Family Dispersal."

 

The panel, from left, consisted of Allegra Love, immigration lawyer and director , Santa Fe Dreamers Project; Gracia Rivas Campos, WNMU student, Dreamer; Dr. Magdaleno Manzanares, WNMU vice president of external affairs; and Horatio Moreno Campos, JD, Immigration Attorney, Albuquerque.

According to the photographer, Raven, who sent this to the Beat, it "was well attended, informative and important."

The forum was hosted by the Grant County Democratic Party, the Immigration Justice Network, the WNMU LIbrary and the MEChA student organization
