Rebekah Stevens joins the Silver City Museum team as Volunteer and Events Coordinator.

Having worked for the Sun-News, and various non-profit organizations as a communications consultant, Stevens has also enjoyed opportunities to coordinate volunteers around 4th of July events and holidays. She has spent much time working within the Silver City community.

Rebekah also shares a great interest in history as an avid reader and student pursuing a bachelor's degree in history.

"I am excited to have the opportunity to reach out to our community and grow the impact of the Silver City Museum through our exhibits and special events," Stevens said, "History is very important to me and I look forward to helping others discover the rich and unique background of Silver City."

"We are very pleased to welcome Rebekah to the team," said Museum Director Carmen Vendelin, "2017 is a special year for the Museum and she is joining us just in time to be part of our 50th Anniversary celebrations. We look forward to the ideas and energy Rebekah brings."
