celebrated her 90th birthday with friends and family at the
HMS New Beginnings Psychosocial Recovery Program on September 26, 2017.
Silver City, NM (September 27, 2017) Life-long Grant County resident, Delfina Ybarra, celebrated her 90th birthday with family, friends, and staff at the HMS New Beginnings Psychosocial Recovery Program on September 26, 2017.

Ybarra retired from a career that included roles as a truck driver with the Kennecott Copper Corporation and as a bookkeeper with a couple of local banks. Ybarra's professional experience also included serving as a matron, clerk, and dispatcher with both the Silver City Police Department and Grant County Sheriff's Department.

During her birthday celebration at HMS, Ybarra stated, "I'm doing great. I've always taken care of myself and I'm very active." Ybarra told event attendees that she looks forward to celebrating her 100th birthday at New Beginnings in 2027.
