Gavin Galindo tied for 3rd place in the El Paso Times Scripps Regional Spelling Bee on March 2. He is a 5th grade student from Stout Elementary.
Also representing the Silver Schools were Zev Rivers from Jose Barrios, and Tara Shrestha from Harrison Schmitt Elementary.
