Mark Chavez gets a little help cutting the ribbon at An Open Door. A nice crowd attended the ribbon cutting and open house for An Open Door located at 6 Peterson Drive in Silver City on Wednesday, April 18.

An Open Door supports individuals with developmentally disabilities & their families. This is a community-based program that assists Individuals reach their full potential at the same time assisting families with needs.

Local dignitaries that were on-hand to assist with the event were Silver City Mayor Ken Ladner and Grant County Assessor Raul Turrieta, and Chamber Board Members Dan Cook and Melanie Reese.
