benjamin reyes rsBenjamin ReyesReyes is completing his BA degree in education at WNMU, majoring in Early Childhood Education, with a Bilingual Education endorsement and TESOL certification. "I've already started working on my Masters here at WNMU, so the PFLAG scholarship really helps. Someday, I hope to have an EdD and payback to public education in New Mexico for all that it has afforded to me," Reyes said. "My family, especially my grandfather, would constantly promote the importance of studying and earning a degree. I can only hope I too can be inspiring to classrooms full of children someday."
