Silver City, NM (May 8, 2018) – As part of this year's recognition of National Nurses Week, taking place during May 6-12, 2018, the HMS Senior Leadership, and the HMS Board of Directors, extends their utmost gratitude to all HMS nurses – past, present, and future – including:

According to the American Nurses Association (ANA), National Nurses Week begins each year on May 6th and ends on May 12th, Florence Nightingale's birthday. It features a host of events across the U.S. to honor nurses for the work they do, and educates the public about nurses' role in health care.

"Thanks to all HMS nurses for their ongoing commitment to providing integrated and quality health care to HMS patients and clients every day," stated Dan Otero, HMS Chief Executive Officer. Otero added, "Under the leadership of Darrick Nelson, MD, HMS Chief Medical Officer and Family Medicine Residency Program Director, and Albert Diaz, HMS Director of Nursing, HMS nurses truly are inspiring individuals."
