The Kiwanis Club of Silver City celebrated students honored as Terrific Kids for September 2018 at GW Stout Elementary School in the cafeteria with invited parents. The program honors elementary school students for demonstrating a positive attitude, good character, and responsible citizenship. In addition to getting a certificate with a summary of why the teacher chose the student, each child is given a packet of Terrific Kids gear for them and their parents. Those honored are:
