SILVER CITY-Grant County 4-H has had a busy couple of weeks. Members from the six 4-H clubs in the county competed for spots on the prestigious Grant County 4-H Shooting Sports Teams. In May, 30 youths will attend the New Mexico 4-H State Shooting Sports Championships in Raton, NM.

The following youths will be representing Grant County 4-H in seven different shooting sports disciplines:

“This is the largest group of youths to attend the State Championships during my tenure here in Grant County” Swapp said. “We are extremely proud of these members and would like to thank all of the coaches that have helped to prepare these youths for the state contest” added Swapp.
