Based on updated guidance from the national Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and a corresponding Aug. 12 update to the state Public Health Emergency Order, the New Mexico Public Education is updating the COVID-19 Response Toolkit for New Mexico’s Public Schools. This memo details those changes, which take effect immediately. Superintendents, charter leaders and Tribal education leaders will be notified when the toolkit has been updated. Until then, this memo is an amendment to the previous toolkit and is in full effect.
