girlscoutsapr03L-R: Melissa Travis, Sharon Peyton, Krytan Tjarks, Veronica Haynes, Cindy Manos, Anisa Brabson, Jaclynn Holguin, Jessica Hill, Annette ToneyGirl Scouts of the Desert Southwest from Grant and Hidalgo Counties held their Adult training P.E.A.R.L.S (Path to Empower Adults to Reach Leader Success) in Buckhorn, NM, at the Southwest Christian Center. Adults attended sessions to help them teach their Girl Scout Troops different flag ceremonies, how to plan Badges and Journeys. They also learned about the many different roles they play, such as parent, leader, and friend. Girl Scouts offers more choices and more reasons to join than ever.
