Greetings dear Senior Athlete,

Both Copper Country Senior Olympics and I the Local Coordinator would like to congratulate and thank the Board of Directors, committee members, event managers, participants, volunteers, and sponsors that made last year happen, having proximally 180 participants.

The goal of the Senior Olympics is to promote activity and health in our participants for as long as possible.  Whether you place or not, improving your personal best time, personal best score, getting out, staying active and meeting new people is the real take away for our time spent here.

Congratulations to all the athletes that participated this year, the effort and hard work you have devoted playing the sport, remembering the fellowship and fun with your fellow athletes or the fitness you have gain by being involved in the games.

We congratulate you for getting involved in the local and state games.  Let’s continue to work together as we have in the past.

I have a favor to ask!  Will you please forward this e-mail or word of mouth to friends or family members who might appreciate the opportunity to get involved with CCSO?

A quote from NMSO Executive Director Cecilia Acosta: “You do things first class here at CCSO.  You are very lucky to have an organization that is committed to ensuring that your experiences will inspire other seniors to join in and yet obtain a whole and longevity through senior’s sports.  Your organization is successful in being a strong advocate for Senior Sports and in motivating others to be involved.  KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK!!!”

Locally, we are one of the top organizations in NM and should be proud to be representing Grant County.  Thank you for participating and hope that you continue in years ahead!
