The Town of Silver City Council will hold a public hearing during its regular meeting on Tuesday, May 23, 2017 at 6:00 pm at the Grant County Administration Center, 1400 Hwy 180 East, Silver City, New Mexico. The public is invited to attend. Action items on the agenda will include:
Approval of Minutes: Regular Meeting of May 11, 2017
Public Hearing:
A. Approval / Disapproval of PV17-01: a request for a partial subdivision plat vacation of part of Blocks 2, 6 and 7 and all of Blocks 3, 4, 5, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13 and 14, and parts of Sotol Loop, Sotol Street, Tesajo Street, Senna Street, Agave Street, Verbena Street, Cholla Street, Vicente Circle, Chamiso Place, Sacaton Street and Sacate circle Rio Vicente Subdivision, Town of Silver City, Grant County, NM. The applicant is the owner, Bruce McKinney of Esperanza Hills, LLC.
New Business:
A. Approval / Disapproval of Notice of Intent Ordinance No. 1259: An Ordinance amending Chapter 10, Article II (Business Registration) Title and Sections 10-20 through 10-22; Article III (Business License), Sections 10-44 through 10-64 of the Municipal Code of the Town of Silver City, NM.
B. Approval / Disapproval of Resolution No. 2017-14: a Resolution adjusting property tax rates within the Town.
C. Approval / Disapproval of Preliminary Budget for Fiscal Year 2017-2018.
