Part-Time Custodian

The City of Bayard is accepting applications for an experienced part-time custodian (25 hours per week). Individual will be responsible for the performance of janitorial services for all municipal buildings. Duties include but are not limited to the following:

Sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and shampooing floors.
Sweeping exterior walkways.
Dusting all office furniture and equipment.
Cleaning counter tops and kitchen equipment.
Sanitizing bathrooms and water fountains.
Cleaning windows and walls.
Empty trash cans.
And any other duties as assigned or required for custodial services.

Applications may be picked up at the Bayard City Hall 800 Central Avenue, Bayard, New Mexico 88023. Applications will be accepted until position is filled. Successful applicants must pass a pre-employment physical and drug/alcohol test prior to
commencing employment. Applicants must provide copies of GED/High School Diploma and valid New Mexico driver’s license.
