Yesterday, the Obama Administration officially announced that it will establish the Organ Mountains-Desert Peaks National Monument in New Mexico. This is another land grab by this administration that bypasses the American people and Congress. The designation of the Organ Mountains is on a secret memo created by the Bureau of Land Management in 2010. The administration has used this Treasured Landscapes Plan to create monument designations in the past and will continue to do so.
