Santa Fe, NM - Yesterday, the Senate Democrats failed New Mexico's workers by blocking a bipartisan compromise that would have raised the minimum wage and given employees the right to choose whether they financially contribute to a union. The Senate Public Affairs Committee killed the legislation on a 5-3 party-line vote.
