I sit at my desk and read the BEAT at 8:00 pm and it is difficult to comprehend that my fellow Grant Countians are being subjected to a powerful snow storm while I sit here with my air conditioner going full blast. The current temp here is 80 degrees. Would I trade this for the weather in Grant County? Probably not, but I certainly miss the warmth of the area during the Christmas season. One other observation. I am happy that you may get a Denny's. We have about 30 of them in my area and they are good places to eat. I believe that the issues they had in the past have long been resolved so I hope they come to SC and that all Grant County will take advantage of the situation.
