Was the protest a result of 'fake news' in Silver City today?

I, and some acquaintances who were at the aforementioned rally, would like to correct some information in the article.

We do not understand why GǣseveralGǥ people expected Congressman Pearce to be at Watts Hall. If so, there was some misunderstanding, not Gǣfake newsGǥ or alternative facts. We understood that this was to be the monthly visit of Pearce's representative, Joe Martinez. The organizers of the event emphasized that it was to be a peaceful, non-disruptive protest, demanding that Pearce hold a town hall meeting to hear the views of his constituents.

As to the GǣWhere is Pearce?Gǥ sign, we know that Congressman Pearce was in Washington, but many of us question whether he is actually Gǣdoing the job he was elected to do,Gǥ namely, representing the interests of the majority of his constituents and acting in accordance with their wants and needs.
