Albuquerque, N.M. - This week, the Democratic Party of New Mexico will participate in the Second Annual Gracias! Bus Tour in Las Cruces, Albuquerque, Truth or Consequences, Los Lunas, and Santa Fe to thank lawmakers and community leaders for the work they do to support working families in New Mexico. Everyone is invited.

On Thursday April 28, DPNM Treasurer Robert Lara will help kick off the tour in Las Cruces. Then on Friday, April 29, DPNM Secretary Neomi Martinez-Parra will travel to T or C and Los Lunas to take part in the bus tour's breakfast and ice cream social, respectively. On Saturday April 30, DPNM Vice-Chair Juan Sanchez III will be in Albuquerque to thank community leaders for their work to support working families in New Mexico. DPNM Chairwoman Debra Haaland and DPNM Vice-Chair Juan Sanchez III will help end the tour with Senator Tom Udall in the International Workers' Day Celebration and Film Festival in Santa Fe.

Voter registration will be available at all stops on the bus tour.

The New Mexico Federation of Labor President John Hendry encourages everyone to come out and support working families, "The Gracias! Bus Tour was a huge success last year, and this year promises to be even bigger event. We are thanking our leaders who stand with us and protect New Mexico working families. And, we are asking our brothers and sisters across New Mexico to join our coalition of several organizations and unions in solidarity."
