Cleveland, OH - Donald Trump and Mike Pence have been officially nominated by the delegates to the 2016 Republican National Convention as the Republican Candidates for President and Vice President, and the New Mexico delegation is fired up and excited to elect the Trump/Pence ticket in November.

The Delegates started the day at a brunch for the NM and AZ delegations sponsored by AT&T, and then spent the afternoon seeing some of the biggest musical icons at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.

In the evening, Governor Susana Martinez and Samuel LeDoux, who at age 24 is the youngest elected delegate from New Mexico, had the honor of announcing that New Mexico's 24 delegates have proudly cast their votes for Donald Trump.

"It was another exciting and eventful day for the New Mexico delegation," said Republican Party of New Mexico Chairman Debbie Maestas. "After a very successful brunch event and a fun afternoon at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, our delegates have voted to officially nominate Donald Trump. Our delegates and our Republicans back home in New Mexico are energized and eager to help elect Trump and Pence and defeat Hillary Clinton in November."
