Albuquerque, NM - Democrat Secretary of State candidate Maggie Toulouse Oliver claims she will be tough on ethics if elected, and yet she's an enthusiastic support of Hillary Clinton, whose long history of unethical behavior should disqualify her from becoming president. Toulouse Oliver was one of the featured speakers at Bill Clinton's rally in Espanola in May, and has been praising Hillary Clinton's scandal-plagued campaign on social media for more than a year.

"Toulouse Oliver cannot credibly campaign on an ethics platform if she thinks Hillary Clinton should be president despite her long history of dishonesty and crooked dealings," said Republican Party of New Mexico Spokesman Tucker Keene. "Toulouse Oliver needs to answer for her support of Clinton, which runs contrary to everything she claims to support in her campaign for Secretary of State. Is Maggie Toulouse Oliver for putting Hillary Clinton and her pay-to-play politics in the White House, or is she tough on ethics?"

Whenever a new story is published detailing Hillary Clinton's irresponsible and unethical behavior, Toulouse Oliver does not revoke her endorsement, she does not speak out about holding Hillary accountable or call for transparency regarding her emails.

"Toulouse Oliver's continued support for Hillary Clinton shows that being tough on ethics is nothing more than a campaign talking point," said Keene.
